So a while ago I named my story ( which is quickly becoming a novel!). It is called:
Parentheses on Conformity.
Basically parentheses is not just a punctuation symbol, it also means variation, difference, divergence, etc etc.
It fits so perfectly, and it literally just came to me one day!
My story has now reached over 71 singles spaced 8x10 pages and over 46,000 words! I am still working on it, even if a slow pace. And if I'm not writing, I'm plotting and planning. Characters are becoming permanently named and things are progressing smoothly in the novel.
As well as continuing to write the first draft I want to develop the complex characters. I want to draw them, and give them a written history in the form of very short stories, even a page or less. I feel it will help me to make them more in depth in story and more attention drawing and more real.
**That should be it for now, and I'll leave a short piece previously unshared:
“You see, we came prepared for anything. So this is your last chance, come with us quietly or deal with the consequences I dish out.” the ACO directs to me.
I release the man’s arm, it’s bleeding out onto the floor, as am I. I look to my freighted yet determined familiars, and to the intruders, then back to my familiars. I’ve decided it’s time to give him a shock of his own.
Hope you enjoyed the teaser x)
